What is Homeopathic Medicine?
German doctor and chemist, Samuel Christian Hahnemann (1755 – 1843) founded homeopathy in the early 1800’s. Hahnemann discovered a new system of medicine, in which a drug and a disease that produce similar symptoms neutralize each other, thereby restoring a patient’s health. He described this phenomenon as “ans similia similibus curentur”, or “like can cure like”, which is the first and foremost rule of homeopathy.
Homeopathy is derived from the Greek term “homoios” meaning similar and “pathos” meaning suffering. It is a therapeutic method based on hypotheses formulated from clinical facts and perfected through many years of clinical and toxicological experimentation. Hahnemann’s hypotheses were confirmed, but only when very small or infinitesimal doses were used. For example, when used in large quantities, “ipecas” produces nausea and vomiting in healthy individuals. In small doses, it cures nausea in dyspeptic patients.
Homeopathy works effectively in treating people with a wide variety of acute and chronic problems, including infectious disease, allergies, gynecological conditions, digestive problems, skin diseases and psychological disorders. By using very small or infinitesimal doses of substances from plants, minerals and animals, homeopathy stimulates the body’s nervous system to initiate the healing response. The scope of effective homeopathic treatment is broad.
The Physician’s first duty is to enquire into the whole condition of the patient – the cause of the disease, his mode of life, the nature of his mind, the tone and character of his sentiments, his physical constitution and especially the symptoms of the disease.”

What is the “Mohrdar Protocol”?
The “Mohrdar Protocol” is using everything – the combination of multi-disciplinary practices provides faster relief and more rapid restoration of normal body function, hence a much shorter recovery time.
The “Mohrdar Protocol” includes – your mind and its influence on your biochemistry, correction of muscle-function on cellular level and physical manipulation.
Who benefits from homeopathy?
Everybody from infants to elders. Children usually respond quicker and better because their reactive powers are many times stronger than those of adults.
Does homeopathy cure everything?
No, but most functional symptoms and troubles can be helped by this approach.
Should other treatment be stopped?
In most cases, homeopathic and allopathic (classic medicine) treatments are compatible. As each patient’s treatment is personalized, there may or may not be any need to stop other medications.
Are the effects of the homeopathic remedy influenced by its amount or its dilution?
The effectiveness depends on the remedy’s ability to provoke a cellular reaction, it has nothing to do with the quantity of medication taken. Only the correct potency will provoke this cellular reaction by sending specific messages to each cell.
How does homeopathic remedy work?
The first law of homeopathy is: “let like be cured with like”. Homeopathy uses natural substances in small dosage that matches the symptoms of disease or illness and strengthens your body’s own ability to fight the illness.
Homeopathy works with the body to heal itself and restore a balance, without any known side effects. However, in some cases, during the course of treatment, existing symptoms may be aggravated, new symptoms may appear, or old symptoms may recur as the body tries to heal all symptoms in response to the remedy given.
Where are homeopathic remedies derived from?
Homeopathic remedies are derived from raw, natural resources, generally from the animal, vegetable or mineral kingdoms.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is an essential part of traditional Oriental Medicine, a comprehensive system of health care with a continuous clinical history of over 3000 years.
How does Acupuncture work?
Acupuncture works by re-establishing balance and harmony within the body. The general theory is based on the premise, that there are patterns of energy that flow throughout the body. This energy circulates in a system which externally/internally ties together meridians, organs, and the tendino-muscular system. When the energy flow of the human body is disrupted, due to trauma, poor diet, stress or other conditions, pain and illness result.
Acupuncture seeks to correct these imbalances by inserting ultra-thin needles into specific points of the body. Stimulation of these “acupoints” unblocks the meridians and encourages an even flow of the “Qi”, restoring the body’s balance and relieving pain and other symptoms.
Is Acupuncture safe?
In the hands of an comprehensively trained acupuncturist, your safety is assured. Acupuncture needles used here are sterile and disposable.
Is Acupuncture painful?
Acupuncture bears no resemblance to the feeling of receiving an injection, since the main source of pain from injections is the larger diameter, hollow needle and the medication being forced into the tissue by pressure. Acupuncture needles are very fine and flexible, about the diameter of a human hair. In most cases, insertion by a skilled practitioner is performed without discomfort.
You may experience a sense of heaviness or electricity in the areas of insertion. Most patients find the treatments very relaxing and many fall asleep during treatment.
Can Acupuncture be combined with other health care therapies?
Yes. Although they are quite different approaches and ways of looking at the body and how it functions, oriental and western medicine complement each other.
What can I expect?
Many conditions may be alleviated very rapidly by acupuncture and oriental medicine. However, some conditions, that have arisen over the course of years will be relieved only with slow, steady progress.
As in any form of healing, the patient’s attitude, diet, determination and lifestyle will affect the outcome of a course of treatment. Patients are encouraged to actively participate in their healing process.
What is Diathermy?
Diathermy, which literally means “through Heat” is a technique using high frequency energy to directly heat deep seated tissues and produce a therapeutic response. Diathermy was first used in 1907 by Nagelschmidt, a Berlin Physician.
What is DITI?
Medical DITI is a noninvasive diagnostic technique that allows the examiner to visualize and quantify changes in skin surface temperature.
It has been used extensively in human medicine in the U.S.A., Europe and Asia for the past 20 years. Until now, cumbersome equipment has hampered its diagnostic and economic viability. Current state of the art PC based IR technology designed specifically for clinical application has changed all this.
What does DITI do?
Medical DITI is filling the gap in clinical diagnosis
- X ray, C.T. Ultrasound and M.R.I. etc., are tests of anatomy.
- E.M.G. is a test of motor physiology.
- DITI is unique in its capability to show physiological change and metabolic processes.
- It has also proven to be a very useful complementary procedure to other diagnostic modalities.
How does DITI work?
An infrared scanning device is used to convert infrared radiation emitted from the skin surface into electrical impulses that are visualized in color on a monitor.
This visual image graphically maps the body temperature and is referred to as a thermo gram. The spectrum of colors indicate an increase or decrease in the amount of infrared radiation being emitted from the body surface. Since there is a high degree of thermal symmetry in the normal body, subtle abnormal temperature asymmetries can be easily identified.
Skin blood flow is under the control of the sympathetic nervous system. In normal people there is a symmetrical dermal pattern which is consistent and reproducible for any individual. This is recorded in precise detail with a temperature sensitivity of 0.01°C by DITI.
The neuro-thermography application of DITI measures the somatic component of the sympathetic nervous system by assessing dermal blood flow. The sympathetic nervous system is stimulated at the same anatomical location as its sensory counterpart and produces a ’somato sympathetic response’. The somato sympathetic response appears on DITI as a localized area of altered temperature with specific features for each anatomical lesion.
